Hello! My name is Ashlee Stephens and I am the Art Teacher at Wolcott Mills Elementary. I am a new teacher, new to the Michiana area, new to keeping parents updated on happenings in the art classroom, and new to blogging. There are a lot of news in my life!
I know that many parents don't see artwork come home with their students on a daily basis. Some of you have maybe not seen any at all. There is a reason for this:
1.) Your students put such time and effort on their work that I hate to see them fold them up and stuff them in their book bag.
2.) I try to get AS MUCH artwork as I can on the walls around the school, therefore, I have to keep it!
That is where this blog comes in. I hope to be able to add pictures on a regular basis to keep you informed on the happenings in the WM Art Room. We have lots of fun creating and I want to share it with YOU!
